Welcome to H.E.M.P. Nebraska!

There are currently multiple petitions circulating in the state of Nebraska that would address some of the injustices associated with cannabis prohibition. Of course H.E.M.P. Nebraska supports all these movements toward a saner policy approach when it comes to cannabis, but the one that we support the most and are actively recruiting signatures for is The Nebraska Cannabis Initiative. This petition seeks to add Proposition XIX to the Nebraska Constitution whose object is to regulate and tax all commercial uses of cannabis, also known as marijuana, and to remove all laws regulating the private, noncommercial use of cannabis.

We are a grassroots organization working for the repeal of unjust cannabis laws in the United States of America. The last 70 years of misguided policy have been propelled by fear and propaganda rather than through scientific reasoning and reality. Much has been learned about this fascinating plant since its ban in 1937. It is time to stop the nonsense!
